I grew up in the south of Denmark, and I soon discovered my love and passion for sound and music. It really began when I joined the Church Choir. Here I had my first success experiences, because school wasn’t my favourite place.

At the age of 12, I began to write songs together with a friend. Right after school we went home, playing our guitars, and writing love songs. We also played at the local Folk Club, and I really felt that this was my place to be; here I felt alive!

Years passed, and everyday were a step closer to a life filled with music. I went to a Folk High School when I was 17, and here I understood again, that it had to be music.

A special event at the school, revealed my power and charisma. I sang, “Imagine” and the audience went absolutely crazy! The whole room was filled with magic… this concert still stands as one of the strongest to me.

Many positive years with music began, and I succeeded in singing almost every style. I believe this has given me an open-minded way of discovering music, and developed my ability to compose in different styles. Between 1988-1992 I had a glorious time, - a creative time, singing lead and background ground vocals in many bands and projects. I also succeeded in obtaining a record-contract in DK.

In 1992 my life took a huge turnaround. I gave birth to my first child, and decided to make my living through my own songs. Until that day, I hadn’t composed that many songs, but after that decision they flew out of me, as If they too had waited to be born. The songs really stood in line to be manifested!

I took 10 years out of my life, to devote time to my two kids, and to learn whom I was in my musical performance. I had to get to know every little brick that felt important, to be a true performer of “my” art. It took time, and hasn’t been easy, but well worth it. Today, I’m very confident with my sound and personal style. So very humble and grateful for the musical gifts I’m born with, - nothing may stop me yet!

• Born 21.11.1967 South Of Denmark
• Grew up here until the age 18.
• Sang in the local church quire in 6 years
• Began to write songs at the age 12
• Played the guitar, and performed often at the local folk music club 
• Moved to Copenhagen 1985
• Began to sing in many different Bands, especially soul and Jazz music
• Gave singing lessons, and met my ‘Master Vocal Teacher’. Studied by him around 8 years
• Became a record deal, recorded one single. Did annul it again after several years.
• Touring as a background singer, with a famous Danish artist (Johnny Madsen, DK)
• Gave birth to my son 1992
• Decided to write my own music, and did
• Recorded my first demo in my second pregnancy 1995 (demo)
• Wrote lots of songs, and kept on giving singing lessons
• Received a Scholarship from Staten Denmark Art Fund 1998-2000
• In 1998 and in 2000, I recorded two demos with some of the best DK musicians.
• Moved to the countryside in 2000
• Began to write songs in a different new style, and found my own unique style
• Working hard with self development, self consciousness
• Learned to practice Reiki Healing
• Co-operated with a Reiki Master. Her guided meditations with music from UIB
• 2002 moving back to Copenhagen
• Recorded and released  “UpstairsInsideBeyond” myself in November 2004
• 2005-2006 Working intense on spreading the word and sound of UIB
• 2006 - 2007 Manifesting "music in silence".  Featured on two compilations: " Violet Femmes" & "The Goa Chill Out Zone". Featured with the song; "She will carry you" in the movie "The paralyzing agent"
• 2008 3 songs from UIB appears on the document movie; "Teresa". Working on material for UpstairsInsideBeyond 2, and to release my older songs.  Will be released this year or 2009
